Synopsis

Inspired by a true story, a young couple swept up in the horrors of WWII are separated during the invasion and occupation of Hungary by the German Army. Reunited by a series of incredible and fortuitous events, the young man disguises himself as a Nazi SS Officer, and the couple embarks on an unforgettable journey filled with suspense and danger. Working with the remarkable Swiss vice-consul Carl Lutz who issues Swiss protective passports, they take extraordinary risks as the couple and the Swiss government are the only hope to save the lives of thousands headed for deportation and extermination in the Nazi death camps.

This has been so long in the making that when Jonas said The Glass House is “no more” at the 2009 Convention, I felt like crying for him, then when the announcement was made shortly after – “Or: – is it?” we were elated and now even more so as it approaches its release date. A very much, long awaited and longed for project and a very welcome one, highly anticipated.

  2. Yes it took 3 years to finish filming, but we’ll finally see the result later in 2012!
